I started writing at 14 with a dream to make music that’s raw, vulnerable, and changing. Numb was written during a time I was learning to feel and understand emotions I’d never felt before. I recorded it on my bedroom floor with my Tele, a multi pedal, and a mic in my bathtub for reverb. My sound blends grunge with psychedelic influences taken from older music like Pink Floyd. Even though I've written many songs, numb was my first song and the beginning of my journey as a singer-songwriter.​
